Flying Skull Plant Products is proud to introduce Nuke Em® to the gardening community. Nuke Em® will not significantly lower the photosynthetic rate of your plants nor will it obstruct transpiration through the leaf’s stomata like oil-based pesticides do. Nuke Em® has the ingredients to maximize the kill rate of pests while allowing your plant to thrive. Its unique formula also controls the vast array of mildews and molds found in gardens.

Is Nuke Em® registered in Washington State for I-502?

Yes

Is Nuke Em® registered and on the Official List in Florida State for commercial grows?

Yes

Nuke Em® won’t lower the value of your harvest like other pesticides/fungicides!

Be wary of insecticides made with oils because they plug the plant’s stomata which causes the photosynthetic process to slow. This causes slower plant growth and makes it harder for the plant to recover from insect attack. This is why your plants’ growth slow or become stunted after you sprayed with oil and detergent-based products. These concentrated plant oils include Neem, Rosemary, Soybean, Canola, et al.

Should I add a wetting agent to Nuke Em®?

Yes, we produce a product called Spread Coat which is OMRI-listed and formulated with Nuke Em® in mind. It is now available here.

Using a wetting agent helps Nuke Em® to cover the leaf’s surface more evenly increasing kill rates of the pests. A lot of plants’ leaves have a waxy surface which will tend to shed water, but by adding the wetting agent the leaf will get better overall coverage.

Pro Growers Note: Our rigorous studies have shown that nearly 80% of the time when plants are under a pest/pathogen attack it indicates a root zone problem! We highly recommend adding Z7 to your arsenal. It has saved countless growers from major devastation and made huge differences in yield and crop consistency.

I have an extreme infestation of spider mites, broad mites, Russet mites, or Cyclamen mites. What are my options?

We recommend these modified applications for extreme infestations of pests:

Before you spray, flush the plant site with Z7 treated water. You should have 20-50% runoff from the bottom of the container than what you put into it. Wait one hour before applying Nuke Em® to make sure the plant is fully hydrated.

MODIFIED APPLICATION #1 – Most aggressive takedown method.

DAY ONE: Apply once at moderate/strong strength and wait for it to dry. Spray a second time and wait for it to dry. Spray a third time and allow to dry.

DAY THREE: Apply once at moderate/strong strength.

DAY SIX: Apply once at moderate/strong strength. Check for any signs of insects in the following days.

Moderate strength: 6oz Nuke Em® concentrate to a gallon sprayer with 1-2 tsp of Spread Coat.

Aggressive strength: 8oz Nuke Em® concentrate into a gallon sprayer with 1-2 tsp of Spread Coat.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Whenever using Nuke Em® at a dilution rate more than the standard strength (4oz/gal), it is important to test on one plant to make sure no burning occurs before applying to your entire crop!

MODIFIED APPLICATION #2  Moderate takedown method.

DAY ONE: Apply once at moderate/strong strength and wait for it to dry. Spray a second time at moderate/strong strength and allow to dry.

DAY THREE: Apply once at moderate/strong strength.

DAY SIX: Apply once at moderate/strong strength. Check for any signs of insects in the following days.

MODIFIED APPLICATION #3 – Use this method following modified applications one or two until no further signs of insects can be found.

DAY ONE: Apply once at moderate/strong strength and wait for it to dry.

DAY THREE: Apply once at moderate/strong strength.

DAY SIX: Apply once at moderate/strong strength. Check for any signs of insects in the following days.

Because Nuke Em® is a contact killer, it is particularly important that Nuke Em® contacts every mite and egg. Even in the best conditions with careful applications it can be difficult to get complete coverage on the first spray. To increase the likelihood of complete coverage we recommend adding our wetting agent, Spread Coat. Spread Coat does a great job of allowing Nuke Em® to penetrate deep into nooks and crannies where pests tend to hide.

Nuke Em® is not registered with the US Federal Environmental Protection Agency because its ingredients qualify it for exemption under FIFRA section 25 (b).

*NOTE: People with a citrus allergy should exercise caution when handling Nuke Em. You should contact your physician if you have any questions.
